President Barack Obama speaks with Bloomberg Television's Julianna Goldman about the fiscal cliff, taxes, and the deficit on "Interview with the President
__________________________________________________________________
The interview starts with President Obama poised on his seat with his legs crossed.
This could variably mean a number of things, however the positioning of his leg is set away from the interviewer. If it had been set towards the interviewer, this would be a method of protection. On the reversed side, setting aside means that he is open and willing in the interview process.

At this point he nodding to the interviewer's statements.
This shows approval of what she is saying and encourages to keep talking.
He is attentive and listening.

Looking downward to the left is one of his most used gestures.
Looking downward, to the left, is known for rationalizing. In the duration he is holding this gesture, Barack is thinking, self-evaluating, and formulating what to say next.
He does this several times throughout the video.

Also used several times throughout the video, is using gestures.
This is merely for the emphasis of his words and a sign of enthusiasm.
__________________________________________________________________
Maintains direct eye contact throughout most of the interview, other than when looking down.
This illustrates little, next to nothing as Obama is advanced in his interview skills and able to keep direct eye contact for long periods of time. He is able to do this skillfully, more so than a majority of people.
It does however, illustrate an air of professionalism and describes his character.

Here, Obama is shown with his hands rubbing against each other.
Though not quite as negative when the fingers are interlocked, this signifies anticipation.
This is likely caused by listening to the interviewer's questions and being slightly antsy to answer.
__________________________________________________________________
This is one of the three eye behaviors Obama uses during the interview, instead of looking down to the left likes usual, he looks to the right down.
Likewise, he does this the least. Looking down to the right inferences accessing feelings rather than rationality. It correlates well to the fact he is discussing his feelings on the timeline and abilities to reach certain checkpoints.

Throughout the duration of this interview, Obama has a relaxed disposition. This is likely a mixture of both his actual emotions and experience in this type of environment.
For a brief period, he is shown raising his eyebrows. Foremost, it is very much like the gestures he uses with his hands and shows emphasis. Secondly, he would not do so if he weren't open with his plans and being deceptive.
__________________________________________________________________
In this interview, this is the most interesting expression Obama holds.
He adorns a tight lipped smile. The smile itself is not false, as there would be no reason to use it. Also, the smile reaches his eyes to show genuine amusement. This expression being in response to a question, inferences that there is more that he would like to say, indicated by his smile being tight lipped.

The last expression as the interview is to its conclusion, is a smile. It is a quick smile and merely used for courtesy. None of his other features show enthusiasm nor amusement, and his tightness of his lips are likely caused by the fact it is only a quick smile without much thought being put into it. Not quite a false smile as there is nothing to be deceptive about.
